Client Server Applications Developer is responsible for the design, coding, documenting, and other
programming tasks related to Compass Medical's business specific client server applications. The
support will include but is not limited to programming applications, maintaining and supporting data bases, providing assistance and support to team members. This role will participate in the on call rotation and will be responsible for supporting the Information Technology department as well as end users.

This position will require flexibility of hours to meet the business needs.

This person should absorb SME (Subject Matter Expert) knowledge when permissible and enhance
his/her own skill-sets.

�This is a M-F 40hr/week position
�Hours to be determined once candidate is selected
�Will participate in On Call Rotation
�Occasional nights and weekends
�Salary to be determined based
on qualifications.
Duties:� Design and develop user interfaces for data entry into Compass Medical�s data repository based
on analysis of business goals and work flows
� Program custom applications to support the business needs of Compass Medical
� Test and QA forms and applications prior to implementation in lab environment.
� Track bug reports, feature requests, and version information on all forms and programs.
� Create instructional user documentation on how to use developed applications
� Create instructional technical documentation on how to support and maintain developed applications
� Provide courteous, positive support to all �customers�
� Accurately document and communicate issues with all vested parties
� Provide support to all IT department team members in addition to users
� Escalate or resolve issues in a timely manner
� Manage time and tasks associated to assigned projects and meet target dates
� Document problems and resolution for future reference.
� Provide extended coverage when business needs require
� Perform approved hardware and software maintenance on devices
� Create and maintain documentation which includes but is not limited to: Visio diagrams,
spreadsheets, configuration templates & archives, build documents
� Monitor system performance and escalate issues as necessary
� Stay current with knowledge of related technologies, designs, methods, and trends
� Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:� Proven ability to design and develop applications
� Database knowledge and experience
� Strong problem solving, analytical skill
� Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and capable of functioning in a team environment.

Preferred Experience:

� Crystal Reports, MS SQL, Excel
� Visual Form Editor, Cold Fusion, .NET, PERL, Visual Basic,
� Other programming languages
